This gentle yoga class is meant for relaxation. It is perfect for winding down at the end of a long or stressful day. Most of the postures are close to the floor – seated or reclining with some twists, hip openers and lunges. There is a lot of emphasis on the breathe because it is the deepening of the breathe that will help you to release tension and relax. Deep breathing sends a powerful signal to your body to relax.
Be sure to use the time at the end to be in savasana for as long as you need. Treat yourself to this class whenever you need to unwind.
