I’m not talking about exercise, reading, or doing yoga. These are all great at managing stress, but they don’t relieve it. You need to be able to sit still and experience the emotions or physical discomfort you are experiencing as a result of the stressors in your life; to process what you’re feeling, and to be able to move past it.
I’ve been doing a specific form of stress relief for the last few years to help with this, and I’ll call it “body awareness-focused meditation”. I describe it, along with its many benefits, and how you can get started, in this brief 10-minute video.

All this month I’ll be collecting donations for men’s health, 100% of which will be donated to men’s health organizations at the end of the month. I’m hoping that the Man FLow Yoga Community can come together once more and do something incredible to help improve the future of men’s health by supporting research and initiatives to make men healthier.
