Breathing for singing can be really confusing for singers! There are many schools of thought and different breathing techniques are required for different styles. Singers also tend to overthink breathing which then causes more tension and frustration. This practice is exploration for you to feel breath in your body. We will move through five different postures, becoming aware of sensations of breath, then add some voiceless and voiced consonants and accents to understand core muscle engagement and release involved in the breathing process.
